With the growing importance of environmental issues around the world,
interest in eco-friendly vehicles is increasing due to a paradigm shift in automobiles.
The government announced policies such as those for reducing carbon emissions and strengthening fuel efficiency regulations, and in this respect,
the production and demand for electric vehicles are increasing as the automobile manufacturers are reducing the production of internal combustion engine vehicles
and expanding the plan to supply eco-friendly vehicles.
In order to efficiently use the battery used in electric vehicles, it is necessary to maintain a constant temperature of 25℃.
When the temperature is lowered, the amount of heat generated by the increase in internal resistance increases and the mileage decreases,
and when the temperature rises, the mileage and durability decrease, adversely affecting the lifespan of the automobile.
An air cooling system was applied to manage the temperature of the battery, but to improve the mileage, the battery capacity was increased and,
due to the limitation of the cooling performance of the air-cooled cooling system, a water-cooled cooling system using cooling water has been applied.
In an effort to provide solutions for the customer needs, KD Finechem carries out diverse researches such as the battery
coolant with a stable electrical insulation, the impact of the battery on electric vehicles, prevention of corrosion of the metals
used in cooling systems, and the impact on non-metals (rubber, plastic).
