Q [Antifreeze] Is it safe to simply use the blue-color coolant?
A

The coolant to be used may vary due to differences in cooling systems by manufacturer and vehicle. Please contact the service center of the vehicle concerned.

Q [Antifreeze] What is the difference between antifreeze and battery system coolant?
A

Battery system coolant lowers the temperature of the battery system, and also lowers the fire risk of the battery due to its low electrical conductivity.

Antifreeze provides cooling and corrosion protection for vehicles with internal combustion engines, and shows a higher electrical conductivity than battery coolant.

It is recommended to select and use antifreeze according to the purpose of use.

Q [Antifreeze] What does the color of antifreeze mean?
A

The color of the antifreeze has no particular meaning, but the reason it is not colorless is to prevent drinking it by mistaking it for water.

Q [Antifreeze] Can the color of the antifreeze injected into the vehicle change?
A

Generally, antifreeze is used at high temperatures for a long time, so the color will change little by little.

If the antifreeze is dark brown or there is a lot of floating matter, there is a possibility of corrosion inside the vehicle,

so it is recommended to change the antifreeze at a car service center.

Q [Antifreeze] Can I use a KDfinechem antifreeze on an imported car?
A

KDfinechem’s antifreezes basically satisfy the Korean Standards (KS), and as there are products that meet the specific standards and requirements,

such as those of major automobile manufacturers like (Hyundai/Kia, Renault, Ssangyong, GM, Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Suzuki, Volkswagen, etc.),

Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), and US ASTM standards, it is recommended to use products that satisfy the specific requirements.

Q [Antifreeze] Can it be used with the products of other companies?
A

Mixing with other products is not recommended. (Types and expiration dates are different for each product)

Q [Antifreeze] Can it be used on other machines? (Agricultural machines, electric vehicles, etc.)
A

Different antifreezes are used for general vehicles, heavy equipment, batteries (electric vehicles) and fuel cell stacks (hydrogen electric vehicles),

respectively, and it is recommended to use the antifreeze (coolant) recommended by the company for each type of vehicle.

Q [Antifreeze] What is the best dilution ratio?
A

For the stock solution (concentrate), please refer to the freezing point for each dilution ratio, and a 50% dilution ratio is recommended.

Because some products are diluted by 50%, please check the label on the product before use.

Q [Antifreeze] Can I use the same products with different colors together? (Green -> Pink)
A

he same products with different colors can be mixed and used together, but it is recommended that the mixing ratio does not exceed 20%.

When such products are mixed, the resulting color can become cloudy regardless of performance, so full replacement is recommended.
